Who we are

Mongolian Painting (“we”) sells original paintings by Mongolian artists through mongolianpainting.com. Paintings are held in, and shipped from, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. You can reach us at hello@mongolianpainting.com.

The paintings

Each painting is an original work, described as accurately as we can, with its size given as height by width. Photographs are taken in daylight, but colours vary between screens. Where an artist has made more than one hand-painted version of a work, the painting's page says so.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars and are charged in US dollars.
• For delivery in the United States, prices include insured shipping, customs and import fees.
• For other countries, shipping is shown at checkout. Import duties, taxes and courier fees in the destination country are not included and are payable by you on delivery.
• Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Your order

Your order is accepted when your payment is confirmed, and we email you a confirmation. Paintings in your cart are held for you only while you are on the payment page. If a painting becomes unavailable before your payment is confirmed, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Shipping and risk

We ship within 7 days of your order, insured for the full price. Delivery times depend on the courier and customs. The painting remains our responsibility until it is delivered to the address you gave at checkout. See Shipping & returns for details.

Cancellation

You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before it is packed, from your order page.

Damage in transit

If a painting arrives damaged, tell us within 7 days of delivery through your order page, with photographs of the painting and packaging. We will offer a full refund on return of the painting or, if you prefer to keep it, a partial refund agreed with you.

Returns

You may return a painting for any reason within 14 days of delivery. Contact us first through your order page. The painting must be returned in the condition it was received, packed as it was sent, and insured for its full price. Return shipping is paid by you. We refund the price of the painting to your original payment method once we have received and checked it. Shipping charges for non-US orders are not refunded.

Copyright

Buying a painting gives you ownership of the physical work. Copyright in the image stays with the artist. Photos on this site may not be reproduced without permission.

Changes

We may update these terms. The terms in force when you place an order apply to that order.
